We wouldn’t be surprised if the version being offered by Ubisoft was the original 2003 release and not the 2011 HD version. In fact, its recommended PC specs require a Pentium III, Celeron, or AMD Athlon processor and a GPU that supports at least DirectX 9 and has 32MB of memory. Its HD version has since been made backwards compatible with the Xbox One and was featured as a Games with Gold title between August 16th, 2016 through September 1st, 2016.Īccording to its listing on Uplay, there’s only mention of its original release date and not of its follow-up HD release. From there, users can either horde it within their ever-expanding library of free games or download it to play whenever they want.īeyond Good & Evil originally released in 2003 and received the HD treatment in March 2011 on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Ubisoft Club members can head on over to Uplay starting today to in order to add it to their library. As Ubisoft promised last week, the PC version of Beyond Good & Evil has been made available for free via its Uplay service.
